Currently, ODC is in design, development, or construction of 372 multi-family units in four approved and funded projects and includes over $75,000,000 in development costs.
ODC has received Community Housing Development Organization Status from Johnson County Housing Services (PJ) to develop the Prairiebrooke Townhomes, consisting of 76 units for a total cost of roughly $15,000,000.
ODC is working with the USDA in Garden City, KS under 514/516 funds to implement Phase I (86 units) out of a total of 330 units. Construction on Phase I should begin roughly 1st Quarter, 2022. Phase I is approximately $19,000,000.
ODC is working with the town of Pahokee, Florida to demolish an old dilapidated hospital and create 60 units of affordable, farmworker housing. Based on community engagement and input, Oikos is working to build a Head Start facility on site, in the middle of the project. Luther Services will administer the program.
ODC is developing 120 units of 1 and 2 bedroom senior units in a rowhome format, along with separate family units, and a small retail area on the corner. ODC is currently working on permanent funding.

ODC is developing 4 buildings with 160 affordable units, known as Sierra Flats. 40 of the units will be senior housing and 120 will be family units. We are utilizing a unique approach for tax credits on this project.
On November 2, 2021, ODC was selected by the City Council of Port St. Joe to enter into a public-private partnership to develop and build 172 units of workforce housing.
