Affordable Preservation

Rehabilitation of six units in 3 duplex buildings. 

ODC worked with the City of Lakin and the Lakin Housing Authority to acquire 29 units of affordable housing originally built under the USDA 515 program and aging out, as well as some HAP Units. Total rehab cost to exceed $2,000,000 and incorporates solar and other energy efficient units. 

Multiple homes have been acquired from rehabilitation and sale using CHDO and Home Funds.

ODC is acquiring, rehabilitating and reselling homes which are currently designated as “Strategic” and identified as “Abandoned”.
